About the Role: This is a full-time and fully remote position. This is an opportunity for an experienced frontend engineer to lead and grow our Frontend team at a high-growth startup. You will report to the CTO and will work in close collaboration with our Dir of Engineering and Director of Product to figure out the best solution for any problem that arises. Our ideal candidate is strong both technically and also strategically, and could easily understand high-level business needs and translate them into tactical, actionable plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop web applications and new UI features
• Work with stakeholders in Product and Engineering to optimize PRDs and road maps to best match engineering capacity
• Help develop the team's capabilities through hiring the best engineers
• Help to review code, and establish coding best practices
• Identify issues or gaps in our codebase and help improve it via actionable plans
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for the client part of the software
• Test and mock endpoints
• Report issues related to the other parts of the software
• Provide CI/CD capabilities for the client-side part of the software
• Deploy the client-side part of the software
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of one of the modern frameworks (React/Vue/Angular/Svelte), knowledge of HTML/CSS and modern CSS frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP is preferable)
• Experience with complex modular projects and full stack development development is preferred
• Preferred: knowledge of other languages such as Java/Kotlin/Go/Rust
